Terms & Conditions of Sale

Ownership & Risk
1.1 All goods remain the property of Ceramico Tiles & Bathrooms until payment has been received in full.
1.2 Risk in the goods passes to the Customer upon collection, delivery, or dispatch, including during transit, in accordance with applicable law.

Pricing & Deposits
2.1 All prices, quotations, and estimates are subject to change without notice and are not guaranteed until the order is accepted and any required deposit has been paid.
2.2 A minimum 50% deposit is required to confirm all product orders unless otherwise agreed in writing.
2.3 The remaining balance is due within seven (7) days of notification that goods are ready for collection or delivery, or prior to collection/delivery (whichever occurs first).
2.4 Deposits are non-refundable once goods have been ordered, allocated, or committed with a supplier, except where required under the Australian Consumer Law.

Product Availability, Supplier Allocation & Storage
3.1 Goods are deemed available once Ceramico Tiles & Bathrooms notifies the Customer that the goods are ready for collection, delivery, or have been allocated and confirmed available by a supplier.
3.2 In some instances, products may be held by third-party suppliers rather than at Ceramico Tiles & Bathrooms’ premises. Supplier-held goods are treated as available once confirmed by the supplier, and payment obligations apply accordingly.
3.3 Where the outstanding balance is paid within seven (7) days of notification, Ceramico Tiles & Bathrooms may hold goods for up to three (3) months from the date the goods are deemed available without additional charge.
3.4 Where the outstanding balance is not paid within seven (7) days of notification, Ceramico Tiles & Bathrooms reserves the right to apply storage fees from the date the goods are deemed available.
3.5 Storage fees will accrue at a rate of $40 per week or 1% of the total order value per month (whichever is greater) until payment is received in full and the goods are collected or delivered.
3.6 Where goods remain unpaid or uncollected for a period exceeding three (3) months from the date they are deemed available, storage fees will increase to $75 per week or 2% of the total order value per month (whichever is greater).
3.7 Goods will not be released, delivered, or made available for collection until payment has been received in full and cleared funds have been confirmed.

Returns, Credits & Order Variations
4.1 Customers must inspect all goods upon collection or delivery and notify Ceramico Tiles & Bathrooms within forty-eight (48) hours of any missing, damaged, faulty, or incorrectly supplied items.
4.2 Returns or credits will only be considered for eligible products returned within thirty (30) days of collection or delivery, accompanied by proof of purchase, in their original, unopened, unused condition and packaging.
4.3 A handling and restocking fee of 30% may apply to approved returns.
4.4 No returns, credits, or cancellations will be accepted for:
- Custom or special-order products
- Interstate or international indent orders
- Mosaics, adhesives, grout, silicones, sealers, or clearance items
- Discounted, sale, or ex-display products
- Products purchased from third-party suppliers or wholesalers
- Goods that have been opened, used, cut, modified, installed, or are not in original condition
4.5 No claims for damage, defects, variation, or incorrect supply will be accepted once products have been installed.

Product Variation & Suitability
5.1 Shade, size, colour, pattern, and batch variation is inherent in many products including ceramics, porcelain, natural stone, glass, and handmade materials.
5.2 Samples, showroom displays, images, and product specifications are indicative only and may vary from supplied products.
5.3 Customers and installers are responsible for verifying product suitability, quantities, shade, and batch consistency prior to installation.
5.4 Ceramico Tiles & Bathrooms accepts no responsibility for variation or defects identified after installation.

Installation & Warranties
6.1 Shower screens must be installed by a suitably qualified professional contractor. No responsibility is accepted for DIY installations.
6.2 Tapware, sanitary fixtures, and plumbing products must be installed by a licensed plumber in accordance with manufacturer requirements. Failure to do so may void manufacturer warranties.
6.3 Cleaning, sealing, care, and maintenance must be carried out in accordance with manufacturer recommendations. Use of inappropriate cleaning methods or chemicals may void warranties.
6.4 Clearance, discounted, “off display”, and ex-display items are sold as-is and may not carry manufacturer warranties.
6.5 Any service call where no fault is found, including issues arising from incorrect installation, misuse, site conditions, or poor maintenance, may incur a charge for technician attendance and associated costs.

Limitation of Liability
7.1 To the extent permitted by law, Ceramico Tiles & Bathrooms will not be liable for:
- Damage occurring after installation
- Loss arising from incorrect installation, handling, storage, or maintenance
- Consequential, indirect, or economic loss
7.2 Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes, restricts, or modifies any rights or remedies available under the Australian Consumer Law.

Governing Law
8.1 These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Western Australia.
8.2 Any disputes arising from the supply of goods or services shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts and tribunals of Western Australia.
By placing an order, accepting a quotation or invoice, or making payment, the Customer acknowledges and agrees to these Terms & Conditions of Sale.
