CERAMICO TILES & BATHROOMS

Terms & Conditions of Sale

  1. Ownership & Risk

1.1 All goods remain the property of Ceramico Tiles & Bathrooms until the invoice has been paid in full.

1.2 Risk in the goods passes to the customer upon delivery or collection, including during transit, in accordance with applicable law.

  2. Pricing & Deposits

2.1 All prices are subject to change without notice and are not guaranteed until the order is accepted and any required deposit is paid.

2.2 A minimum 50% deposit is required to confirm product orders, except for approved account holders.

2.3 The remaining balance is due prior to pickup or delivery.

2.4 Once a deposit is paid and the order is confirmed, it is non-refundable, to the extent permitted by law.

  3. Order Fulfilment & Storage

3.1 Products will be held for a maximum of three (3) months from the date of order confirmation.

3.2 Estimates, quotations, and quantities provided are indicative only. A final on-site inspection is recommended before commencement of works.

3.3 Some goods may be non-returnable due to their nature.

  4. Product Variations & Customer Responsibility

4.1 Customers are responsible for checking for shade, batch, and colour variations prior to installation.

4.2 Credits or returns will only be accepted for eligible products returned within 30 days of delivery or collection, accompanied by an invoice, pick-up slip, or delivery docket, in their original, unopened condition. A 30% handling fee applies to all accepted returns.

4.3 No returns or credits are permitted for:

    • Mosaics, adhesives, grout, or discounted products
    • Items purchased from other merchants or wholesalers
    • Custom-ordered interstate or international products
    • Products that do not meet the conditions set out above

4.4 Shade and colour variation is inherent in kiln-fired ceramics, porcelain, and glass. Ceramico accepts no responsibility for differences in shade, size, pattern, or design once products are installed. Tradespersons must verify suitability before installation.

4.5 Samples, showroom displays, or specifications are indicative only; minor manufacturing or batch variations are beyond Ceramico’s control and cannot form the basis of a claim.

  5. Installation & Warranties

5.1 Shower screens must be installed by a professional contractor; no responsibility is accepted for DIY installations.

5.2 Tapware and sanitary items must be installed by a licensed plumber; failure to do so will void any manufacturer warranties.

5.3 Initial and ongoing cleaning and maintenance must comply with manufacturer instructions. Use of inappropriate chemicals may void product warranties.

5.4 Items purchased ‘off display’, discounted, or ‘ex-display’ are sold as-is and do not carry warranties.

5.5 Any service call where no fault is found (e.g., installation errors, misuse, poor maintenance) may incur a customer charge for the technician’s time.

  6. Limitation of Liability

6.1 Ceramico Tiles & Bathrooms will not be liable for:

    • Damage to goods once installed
    • Any loss, defect, or variation arising from incorrect installation or maintenance
    • Consequential or indirect losses, except as required by the Australian Consumer Law

6.2 Nothing in these terms limits statutory guarantees or rights under the Australian Consumer Law. Customers retain all rights to remedies for goods that are faulty, unsafe, or do not match the description or sample.

  7. Governing Law

This agreement is governed by the laws of Western Australia. The parties submit to the jurisdiction of WA courts and tribunals.
